Happiness in Bed, 2010

Happiness in Bed, intended as a way to keep one’s arms warm while reading in bed, resonates today when touching is full of portent. How many hours are being logged in bed, spent with an engaging book in these days? Known for designs that extend and distend the body, Closa’s proposal is replete with an opening to facilitate turning the pages of Proust’s Remembrances of Things Past, or whatever tome we’re finally tackling.
